自3月20日起，美國在台協會暫停常態性移民和非移民簽證預約。此外，我們也暫停免親自面談的簽證申請案件。我們將盡快恢復簽證服務，但目前無法提供確切日期。

✅Important information for American Citizens in Taiwan:
The U.S. Department of State has updated its Global Travel Advisory Alert (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/ea/travel-advisory-alert-global-level-4-health-advisory-issue.html) to Level 4 - Do Not Travel. Additionally, American Citizens abroad are reporting that it is increasingly difficult to return to the United States given significant flight cancellations. The American Institute in Taiwan urges American citizens who plan to return to the United States to do so as soon as possible.
✅Important information for visa applicants regarding novel coronavirus (COVID-19):
As of March 20, AIT has suspended routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments. AIT is also suspending applications for Interview Waiver. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time. The MRV fee is valid and may be used for a visa application where it was purchased within one year of the date of payment.
